In this episode Nathan and Juliette talk about the Doctor Who serial, The Sensorites. Juliette opines on whether Susan’s weird is too weird or gives much needed development. Nathan discusses why visually oriented stories age more poorly than plot oriented ones. They both talk about whether the story has too many ideas and talk about how well the Sensorites work as a concept and how well they’re realized. Near the end they discuss how this story may have influenced Ghostbusters.
