In this episode Nathan and Juliette talk about the Doctor Who serial, The Reign of Terror. In this one Juliette puts on her professors hat and schools Nathan on French history. Nathan relates the crazy story of why episodes 1, 2, 3, and 6 of The Reign of Terror exist but not 4 and 5. Both talk about the spectacle that is the Doctor’s hat. Along the way they discuss the revolution’s similarities to modern political discourse, the rising role of the Doctor, and whether it’s appropriate to use humor to discuss dark times in history.

Stargirl took the geek world by storm at a time when people really needed something to take their minds off quarantine. It’s a series that celebrates the fun of silver age comics in a way that sets it apart from the other DC Comics series of the last few years, including those on the CW. In this episode we discuss Stargirl and what gives it its unique charm. We’ll also talk about the characters and the story. We’ll opine on whether the move to the CW as its primary network will change the series. We’ll also give our predictions on what we think will happen next season.
The Librarians was an unusual series that celebrated obscure and esoteric knowledge. With accomplished actors playing quirky characters, the series had a healthy dose of fun while also ensuring that it had its fair share of adventure and interesting plotting. Although built on the foundation of the three Librarian movies starring Noah Wyle the series allowed for larger stories told with more characters over a broader canvas.
