In this episode Nathan and Juliette talk about the Doctor Who serial, The Reign of Terror. In this one Juliette puts on her professors hat and schools Nathan on French history. Nathan relates the crazy story of why episodes 1, 2, 3, and 6 of The Reign of Terror exist but not 4 and 5. Both talk about the spectacle that is the Doctor’s hat. Along the way they discuss the revolution’s similarities to modern political discourse, the rising role of the Doctor, and whether it’s appropriate to use humor to discuss dark times in history.
