It’s back to the planet Skaro as Nathan and Juliette finish the final 3 episodes of The Daleks. Along the way, Juliette can’t let go of Dalek fashion or her Dalek plushie while she talks about why Dyoni will lead the Thals to victory. Native Floridian Nathan is aghast at the idea of wearing sandals in a swamp while more practical Juliette is more concerned about Ian drinking water that releases mist. Juliette discusses Barbara’s love life as Nathan tries to downplay anything but the otp of Barbara and Ian. Meanwhile just what is happening in that final fight scene? The hosts could really use some help figuring it out.
It’s a special Covid-19 episode as Nathan and Juliette discover the perpetrators behind the toilet paper and food hording and find that it’s none other than the Doctor’s oldest returning foes, The Daleks. Take a trip to the planet Skaro as they discuss the behind-the-scenes origins of the crazy creatures. Along the way they discuss the Doctor’s profound selfishness and the changing relationships of the crew. Nathan defends Susan against the fan narrative. Juliette points out that the Thals can’t be that pacifistic when Dyoni is ready to cut any woman that looks at Alydon. They both discuss the obliviousness of the crew who don’t notice a flashing Geiger Counter, and then they have the first segment of Juliette’s costume corner as they discuss the horror of Thal fashion.
