Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was the first of the Marvel TV series to tie in with the MCU and it was almost the last to air before the collapse of Marvel’s TV division. In this episode we look back at the final season of the series. Along the way we discuss whether the time-travel McGuffin and callbacks to previous episodes created a satisfying conclusion to the series. We’ll talk about the inclusion of Souza, how well he worked on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and whether we felt that this was a fitting move for his character. Along the way we’ll talk about missed opportunities, the Fitz reveal, and what we all thought about the coda.

Loki was one of the most anticipated of the initial Marvel series announced for Disney+. Many had wondered how Marvel would handle the Loki variant that escaped during Avengers: Endgame. The series would eventually be incredibly important, setting up concepts that would be developed further in What If…, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. In this episode we discuss the Loki series. We talk about the characters, how they’re developed, and how they’re portrayed. We discuss Loki in the context of the MCU and multiversal variants. We also get into a discussion of the multiverse, how the MCU has portrayed it, and what this could mean for the future. Hang around for the outtakes as Alli goes into detail about her feelings for Avengers: Endgame.
We’ve all had the experience. We absolutely love a TV series and follow it faithfully, but then it’s canceled after one or two seasons. In this episode we take a look at all the contenders who got knocked out early in the fight. We air our grievances and talk about why we think these series should have kept going. We also discuss the difficulties in comparing series that lasted such a small amount of time with the behemoths that last for 5 or more seasons. These shows may be gone, but they’re not forgotten.
In 2008 Marvel released the movie, Iron Man, and the world would never be the same again. Now with their 22nd film, Marvel brings many of the story threads that they’ve been building for eleven years to a conclusion while leaving the door open for so many more stories. In this episode, we talk about Avengers: Endgame. We talk about the characters, discuss the plot, ponder time travel and parallel worlds, and opine on just where the MCU will go from here. Along the way, we discuss epic battles, characters we were delighted to see again, endpoints, the MVP that no one noticed, and the significance of a finger.
Never in all the history of geekdom has one show divided fandom as much as The Big Bang Theory. Some hate it. Some love it. There seems to be no in-between, and there doesn’t seem to be any pattern to who feels which way about it. This episode we try to get to the heart of the matter by talking to people on both sides of the coin. No matter how you feel about the show, there’s something in this episode for you.
